This is such a fun song. I first remember hearing it back when I was in high school. VH1 showed Christmas music videos all night on Christmas eve, and this song got stuck in my head.

I haven’t heard a lot of Paramore’s stuff, but the leader singer has a great voice. I was very happy to hear something like this on the radio. It’s a nice change from the stuff that’s out now.

Canon in D minor is beautiful on its own. It’s a timeless and the perfect wedding song. This Christmas version has the same effect (as far as being timeless goes).

I first became familiar with Switchfoot after watching A Walk to Remember years ago. Mandy Moore sang “Only Hope” in the movie, and I fell in love with it. Then I heard Switchfoot’s version and fell in love with it. Been a Switchfoot fan ever since.
